How to Fix Windows 10 Stuck update

If your computer gets stuck at 100% or 99% when you’re preforming a windows update. You need to restart your computer First. If you don’t know how to Fix Windows 10 Stuck update. You can follow the bellow instruction to fix Windows 10 Stuck update.

Fix the update stuck issue using Troubleshoot option.

  • Click on the start button.
  • Type troubleshooting in the search box and select it for the list.
  • Click on fix problems with windows update under the system and security tab.
  • Click advance and check apply repairs automatically box.
  • Next to start the repair process.

    • Clear update cache in safe mode.

    1. Windows boot in safe mode

    you can hold down the shift key as you click power or restart button click on troubleshoot tab then click advance >windows startup setting >restart>Safe mode

    2. Stop windows update service via Command prompt press windows key + X select command prompt Run as administrator.

    3. type following commands below in pop up windows.

    1. net stop wuauserv
    2. net stop bits

    4. open the softwaredistribution folder. your can select and delete all file.

    5. Start windows update service via command prompt. type the following command in command prompt.

    1. net start wuauserv
    2. net start bits

    6. Restart your computer

    Fix windows stuck update by updating missing drivers

    • Press windows key + R on keyboard.
    • Type devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
    • Find the missing drivers.
    • Download the driver from your PC official website like “Hp Dell Sony Microsoft”
